Jaya Prada likely to join BJP today, wants to contest against Kejriwal

Alright, news just coming says, actor-turned politician Jaya Prada is likely to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Delhi ahead of the Assembly polls in the national capital.

According to sources, she is likely to campaign in the Telegu dominated areas for the elections.

She is also said to have expressed her willingness towards contesting against Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal in the New Delhi constituency.

However, sources say that the party has not taken any decision to field her yet.

Jaya Prada had contested Lok Sabha elections in 2014 on Rashtriya Lok Dal's ticket from Bijnor but had lost. The actor turned politician has been a part of the Telugu Desam Party, the Samajwadi Party and later the RLD.

Kiran Bedi and Shazia Ilmi are also likely to join the BJP today.
