Badaun gang rape: Second constable held

Second of the two constables accused of gang-raping a 14-year-old girl inside a polices station in Uttar Pradesh's Badaun was arrested in Bareilly today, police said.

Veer Pal Yadav was apprehended from satellite bus station in the city, Superintendent of Police Rajiv Malhotra said.He said Veer Pal was here to surrender in the court tomorrow.

Earlier, on January 6, the other accused, constable Avnish Yadav was held by the Special Task Force and local police whenhe was about to board a Delhi-bound train in Bareilly. He was later remanded to the judicial custody for 14 days.
