Five new cases of swine flu in Delhi

Five new cases of swine flu were reported today in the national capital taking the total figure to 40 so far this year. Swine flu has claimed three lives till now. 

Yesterday a 38-year-old woman from Uttam Nagar succumbed to the H1N1 virus at Ram Manohar Lohiya (RML) hospital. 

"Till yesterday, the figure stood at 36 but then one case was eliminated from the list as it was not a case of swine flu," said a senior official from the Health department. 

Health secretary S C L Das said that the incidences are still low this year and the Department is closely monitoring the situation.
