Several hostages freed at the Jewish supermarket in Paris. Several officers have been injured.

Witnesses had earlier said the gunman who opened fire in the kosher market, near Paris' Porte de Vincennes, had declared "you know who I am."

Police officials said earlier that the man who has taken at least five people hostage in a kosher market on the eastern edges of Paris appears linked to the newsroom massacre earlier this week that left 12 people dead.
