Gunman shouted 'You know who I am' as he entered Jewish store

Witnesses said the gunman who opened fire in the kosher market, near Paris' Porte de Vincennes, declared "you know who I am."

A police official says the man who has taken at least five people hostage in a kosher market on the eastern edges of Paris appears linked to the newsroom massacre earlier this week that left 12 people dead.

Police are asking for all stores on the Rue des Rosiers, a historically Jewish street, to shut up shops in light of the hostage situation at the kosher supermarket.
