PK becomes highest grossing Hindi film ever

May be the threats and call for a ban on the film helped, but Aamir Khan's 'PK' has become Bollywood's highest grossing film of all time in India.

PK collected more than Rs 276 crore in two weeks of its release, reports the Indian Express.

The film has overtaken Dhoom: 3 which earned Rs 265 cr and Chennai Express which earned Rs 258 cr in the domestic market.

Trade analyst Komal Nahta tweeted saying: "PK becomes the highest grossing Hindi film ever with a net all-India total of Rs. 276.32 crore in just 2 weeks. O-U-T-S-T-A-N-D-I-N-G!'.
