BJP president Amit Shah is likely to ask Prime Minister Narendra Modi to allow five Union Ministers to brief both the media and the BJP government every day. Shah will of course, discuss the matter with the PM, the BJP Parliamentary board and the five chosen ministers, before the decision is made public.

Shah is not satisfied with the news coverage that the party gets in the print and TV and feels that that the BJP government's performances are neither being highlighted nor being explained to the media.

Many of the BJP spokespersons are articulate but eversince negative reporting about the government's performance has begun, Shah is believed to be worried about the impact the stories are creating among the public.

Shah has been keeping an eagle eye on the performances of BJP ministers and their interactions with the cadre.
