Salem to be transferred to Thane jail

Yesterday, the Bombay High Court cleared the decks for the transfer of the convicted gangster and terrorist Abu Salem from the Taloja prison. The State government had told the court that according to Intelligence inputs, Salem faced threat there and needed to be transferred to the Thane prison.
