Rahul likely to take over as Congress president in April

So, Rahul Gandhi is likely to take over as Congress President in April. His elevation as party president was a foregone conclusion, but there is still the matter of a tussle about the choices for his team, with which even Sonia Gandhi is said to be not comfortable. Rahul wanted to completely change the team that would assist him in running the party.

The Congress vice-president is on leave, ostensibly, to mull over recent events. A party leader even posted pictures of Rahul on Twitter, holidaying in Uttarakhand, but the Congress said the pictures were taken many years ago.
