PDP's Mehbooba Mufti was the centre of attraction in the Lok Sabha today. She entered the House and sat behind Congress president Sonia Gandhi and SP chief Mulayam Singh.

Neither leader greeted Mehbooba.

However, the cold shoulder was more than made good by the BJP MPs who welcomed her with broad smiles. A few even loudly called out to her and asked her to come over and sit on the treasury benches. In fact, TMC's Dinesh Trivedi and a few AIADMK MPs went over to her and greeted her.

Mehbooba Mufti greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Lok Sabha  as she occupined a seat in the Opposition benches.

This comes in the aftermath of Mehbooba meeting BJP president Amit Shah at his residence yesterday and sealing the deal for a BJP-PDP alliance in Jammu and Kashmir.
