Mehbooba meets Amit Shah ahead of J-K govt formation on March 1

PDP's Mehbooba Mufti meets BJP President Amit Shah at his residence. What this heralds is that Jammu and Kashmir will finally get a government with the BJP-PDP coalition set to be announced on March 1.

The deal on government formation has been finalised between the PDP and the BJP, which emerged as the number one and two parties, respectively, in last year's Assembly Elections.

As per reports, PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed will be the chief minister in the coalition government that will rule the state for six years.
