Just in: Bihar's Jitan Ram Manjhi resigns as the chief minister. He met Bihar Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi a short while ago.

Manjhi was due to face a floor test in the Bihar assembly today. The BJP has asked its 87 legislators to vote in support of Manjhi who was facing a battle against Janata Dal-United's Nitish Kumar.
