Secret RSS-BJP meet to relieve fringe's pressure on government

Leaders of the RSS and BJP held a quiet meeting on Sunday at a BJP-ruled state government guest house in Chanakyapuri, Delhi, at which all of them had a frank discussion on the issues troubling them.

The meeting lasted more than two hours, and while no decision was taken sources say the BJP side had a single-point focus. To curb the VHP's fringe elements who they felt were behind the recent attacks on churches in the capital.

In a positive development, it is learnt the RSS leaders agreed to control the VHP. That should ease some of the pressure on the government.
