1 dead, 4 trapped as avalanche hits Gulmarg

One person died and four skiers were trapped when an avalanche hit the Affarwat heights of Gulmarg in Jammu and Kashmir. The authorities have started rescue operations. This is the second death this season at the famous ski resort. On January 24, a Swiss national died and five of his associates had to be rescued when an avalanche hit the Gulmarg tourist resort between Kongdoori and Afferwath.
