Maken, who was the face of the Congress in the polls. Just two days ago, senior party leader Kiran Walia, who is considered to be close to former Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit said, let me make one thing very clear. Ajay Maken is not the CM candidate of Congress.
In fact, there is no tradition of projecting a CM candidate ahead of elections in Congress party. Even Shela Dikshit was not projected as CM candidate.
Both Maken and Walia lost their seats, and Maken his deposit as well.
