This is unprecedented: Delhi records 67.08% voter turnout

After hours of polling, it's over. Polling in Delhi has come to an end with a 67.08 per cent voter turnout. This is the highest voter turnout in the capital. 
The Election Commission announced that over 89 lakh people cast their votes in Delhi today. Chandra Bhushan Kumar, the Delhi chief electoral officer said, "We are happy to announce this election has been unprecedented in terms of voter turnout, poll percentage has crossed 67.08 per cent."
Back in 2013, the voter turnout had been recorded at 65.63 per cent.
