The Delhi police detained several protesters, who were protesting over the series of attacks on churches in the national capital. Shouting slogans for justice, agitators demanded immediate action against those responsible for the attacks.

The protest outside the Sacred Heart cathedral in the heart of the city was "unlawful", said the police, who were seen pulling women and even children, leaving bags and shoes scattered on the road.
The spokesperson of the Delhi Catholic Archdiocese, Father Dominic Emanuel was also dragged into a bus.

He said, "Police is being forceful and they should be ashamed of it. AAP leader Raghav Chadha has also been detained and was taken into the police van."

Chadha said, "I am here in personal capacity and have come to show solidarity. It is in national interest and not political interest."" We have detained some protesters, legal process will be followed," said Joint CP Mukesh Meena.

"Since December, our churches are being attacked, and this is injustice towards us. Our churches are being desecrated. There is so much violence against us and the administration and police is not taking any action," said Gary, a protester.
