Rahul Gandhi speaking at a rally in Jahangirpuri, Delhi, ahead of the polls on February 7, says, "I asked Jayanthi Natarajan to save the environment and the adivasis, I am not scared of it."
This is the first time the Congress vice-president is bringing up the Jayanthi Natarajan issue.
Former environment minister Jayanthi Natarajan quit the Congress on Friday with a scathing attack on party vice-president Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of forcing her to stall big-ticket projects by the Vedanta and Adani groups while making her a scapegoat for the UPA governments economic woes.
