Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday defended the amendments made in Land bill saying the new law will be used for development of villages and not for the rich.
During a public rally before Delhi assembly polls in Rohini, Modi said, "New land acquisition law brought through ordinance to be used for development of villages; not for the rich.'The Prime Minister also attacked the Congress for teaching him the meaning of poverty. "Please do not teach me what is poverty; I have lived with it for years,' said Modi.
