Rahul Gandhi will be elected President of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) in March 2015 when it meets in New Delhi. Party workers are now wondering if Rahul's promotion (he is now party vice president) as the AICC prez is because of Sonia Ganndhi's ill health.

Or is it because Rahul is really interested in doing his job? Whatever the truth, insiders say the pressure to take charge comes from his sister Priyanka Gandhi because she is concerned about Sonia's health.
