3 arrested for removing hoardings of Jayalalithaa

Three persons were arrested today for allegedly removing some hoardings hailing Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, which were put up in compliance with legal requisites, police said.

"Three men were arrested for removing hoardings hailing Chief Minister Jayalalithaa," a police official at Mylapore Station in Chennai said.

"Such hoardings and banners were put up in compliance with legal stipulations," he said.

They also allegedly disturbed public order and created ruckus. They were produced before a court and remanded in judicial custody, he said.
