Guwahati High Court today stayed all the proceedings of present Arunachal Pradesh assembly session till February 2.

Chief Minister Nabam Tuki said the 14 dissidents are not rebels, they have already lost membership of the Congress as they did not attend party meeting.   "Our government is stable, it's popularly elected. From our side there is no crisis. It is created by the governor," the CM said.

Tuki said that composite floor test is illegal since the assembly session has not been called and the matter is subjudice.

"Effectively now the assembly has just 44 MLAs, out of which 11 are from the Bharatiya Janata Party and two Independents," the Arunachal CM said.
