Militants lobbed a hand grenade at a bunker of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in downtown Srinagar this morning. No one was, however, injured in the blast, according to a senior police officer.  He said some private vehicles parked nearby were damaged.

"Militants lobbed a grenade at a CRPF bunker in Sekidaffar area of the old city. No one was injured," the officer said. The area around the camp was surrounded by the security forces for searches. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
