Hurriyat delegation meets Pak high commissioner

A delegation of the separatist Hurriyat Conference met Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit in New Delhi today.

They discussed the recent meeting of Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif during the 'Heart of Asia Conference' in Islamabad and also discussed the Kashmir policy, said an official release from the party.

The delegation passed Syed Ali Shah Geelani's message to Pak envoy that neighbouring country 'should continue to maintain consistency and firmness over Kashmir policy', the release said. ANI
