A special court in Mumbai today accepted the chargesheet filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation in Jiah Khan's death which has charged actor Suraj Pancholi with abetment to suicide.

Rabia Khan, the mother of model-actor Jiah who was 25 at the time of her death, blamed the Mumbai police of botching up the probe and claims that her daughter was murdered. She had filed a petition with the court asking for a CBI probe.

But Rabia Khan and her lawyers claim that they were assured by the CBI that a case of murder was being built against Sooraj Pancholi but was later only charged with abetment to suicide according to its chargesheet.

"What they have discovered was devastating for me. I suppose they have just washed their hands off the matter. They promised me justice," Rabia Khan told NDTV.
