PM tweets B'day greetings to Sonia

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has greeted Sonia on her 69th birthday,wishing her a long life and good health.

"On her birthday, greetings to Congress President Smt Sonia Gandhi. May Almighty bless her with long life & good health," Modi tweeted. Modi's greetings came even as the Congress party and the government were locked in a bitter fight with the opposition alleging "political vendetta" after Sonia and her son Rahul were summoned by a court in the National Herald case.

The Congress yesterday stalled Parliament and took to streets over the issue.
