2 militants killed in encounter in J-K

Two militants have been killed in an encounter in Jammu-Kashmir's Pampore area. The encounter began when police troops demanded that a vehicle halt at a check naka. Militants hiding in the vehicle opened fire, triggering an encounter during which 2 of them were killed.

The shooting comes at a time when External Affairs Minister has travelled to Islamabad where she will hold talks with her Pakistani counterpart Sartaj Aziz and meet Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
