Chennai Airport is to remain shut at least till December 6, says Airport Authority

According to reports, the Chennai Airport is to remain shut at least till Sunday, December 6.

The reports says that the Airports Authority of India has taken the decision to keep the airport shut in light of the massive waterlogging in the area.

"No flights will be allowed in or out till that time," said sources.

With no end to rains in Chennai and water logging on the runway, the Airports Authority of India has earlier suspended the operations in the city's airport until Thursday morning.
