Sania Mirza conferred with Khel Ratna award

Tennis star Sania Mirza receives the Rajiv Khel Ratna award from President of India Pranab Mukherjee at a sparkling event in New Delhi. Sania is only the second tennis player after Leander Paes to be named for India's highest sporting award. Earlier, Sania had said, "We play for the country and if the government gives recognition for our achievement, we feel a sense of pride. I thank the sports ministry for nominating me for the award."
