Special package will usher in large-scale development in Bihar: Shah

BJP chief Amit Shah today said those opposing the special package to Bihar were against its development and claimed that it would usher in large scale development in the state and make it self reliant.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today announced a special package of Rs 1.25 lakh crore besides Rs 40,000 crore rupees for already running schemes. The BJP chief welcomed the announcement of special package and criticised those opposing the package saying it was unfortunate because they are also opposing development of Bihar.

"But the political parties, especially JD-U and RJD obsessed from party politics mentality, are inexplicably opposing this package for political gains. They are not only opposing the package but also the development of Bihar and it is unfortunate," Shah said in a statement.
