Modi's visit to Silicon Valley draws support from almost 500 organisations

Organisations across the West Coast are gearing up for the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the Silicon Valley on Sunday, September 27, 2015.

In the seven days since registration opened, almost 500 diverse organisations from across the West Coast have registered to show support for the event.

These organisations, called the Welcome Partners, will decide most of the individual registrations for the event. The Indo American Community of West Coast (IACWC), a coalition of organisations tasked with organising this grand event in which more than 18,000 people are expected to attend, concluded the registration process for organisations yesterday evening.
