Taj Mahal gets a Twitter handle!

One of the seven wonders of the world, Taj Mahal, now has an official Twitter handle.

The official Twitter account of the Taj Mahal was launched by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday.

The account has over 2020 followers already.

Taj Mahal would be the first historic monument in the world to have its own Twitter account.

The opening tweet on the account read: 'There are two kinds of people in the world -- those who have visited me and follow me here and those who haven't seen me and yet follow me here.'
