Armyman lynched in UP for saving a teenager from eve teasers

Even as India celebrated its 69th Independence Day and saluted the sacrifices made by freedom fighters, came a news that two days ago an army jawan was lynched in Meerut for trying to save a teenager from a group of eve teasers.

On Thursday night, 31-year-old Lance Nayak Ved Mitra Chaudhary managed to overpower a group of men who were eve teasing a girl, and forced them to flee. But minutes later, the eve teasers returned with some accomplices and attacked Chaudhary with rods and bricks. He later succumbed to his injuries.
