Missing journalist Chayan Sarkar rescued by West Bengal police

Missing journalist Chayan Sarkar working with Bengal's Uttarbanga Sangbad was rescued by West Bengal police from Coochbehar late tonight.

He is being brought to Alipurduar, his native town.

According to sources, Sarkar has told the police that his abductors had kept him confined close to the forest areas of Coochbehar.
