British PM David Cameron and wife, Samantha, begin their summer break with a relaxing beer in a harbour-side caf in a picturesque Portuguese fishing village. They started off their holiday with a drink in the pretty village of Alvor - known for its narrow cobbled streets and secluded coves - against an idyllic backdrop of sailing boats bobbing gently in the bay.

The British PM, a keen cricket fan, also found time to celebrate England's Ashes victory over Australia on Twitter. "Congratulations England on regaining Ashes. Thrilling victory. I'll never forget Botham in 81 & don't think I'll ever forget this either," he posted.
