A day after Speaker Sumitra Mahajan suspended 25 Congress members from the Lok Sabha for persistently, wilfully obstructing the House by displaying placards and shouting slogans, Congress MPs, from both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, have decided to protest at Parliament premises from 10.15 am to 11 am.

Sonia Gandhi had called the act a 'black day in democracy'. Following the suspension, 9 other parties, including the AAP and the TMC, decided to boycott proceedings for 5 days.

One has to wait and watch how the Houses will function today when they resume work at 11 pm.
