Akhilesh names new CM office as 'Mukhamantri Karyalaya'

Setting aside the suggestion of Uttar Pradesh governor Ram Naik to name the new secretriat building under construction in the state capital as 'mantralaya', chief minister Akhilesh Yadav today said it would be named as 'Mukhamantri Karyalaya'.

"I received the suggestion from the Governor to this effect but as the new building would house the CM office, its name would be Mukhamantri Karyalaya", Yadav told reporters after the cabinet meeting.
