The Hoot reports that a woman journalist from a Marathi television channel was told to get up from the front-row seat she occupied at a function organised by the Swaminarayan Temple in Dadar, Mumbai to felicitate Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Phadnavis for bringing in a ban on beef in the state. The journalist was told that woman are not allowed to occupy the front seat!
