Immediately, after Rahul delivered his crop procurement speech in the Lok Sabha, Badal launched into a bewildered Rahul. "You went to the Punjab mandi, but where were you when a hailstorm stuck Punjab. Did you wipe the tears of Punjab farmers? You were enjoying foreign hospitality," she said.

Badal was referring to Rahul's 56-day leave, which is when hailstorms destroyed crops across the country. Congress MPs rushed to the well of the House and raised slogans against Badal.
