Miracle in Nepal: Woman rescued alive 54 hours after quake

In Machha Pokhari, Kathmandu, NDRF men rescue a Nepali woman from deep within the rubble of a collapsed building. She was alive but injured. In the despair and desperation that has gripped Nepal, the rescue was met with cheers and clapping. Overwhelmed authorities are trying to cope with a shortage of drinking water, food and electricity, as well as the threat of disease, as the government appealed for international help. The Nepal home ministry has put the death toll at 3726.
