Govt announces Rs 2 lakh compensation to kin of earthquake victims

Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP Government at the Centre on Sunday announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh to the families of those who lost their lives in the massive earthquake that hit India's northern region yesterday.

The Prime Minister's Office shared the news via twitter."GoI has announced a compensation of Rs. 2 lakh to families of those who lost their lives in the Earthquake across parts of India," the PMO tweeted.
