IAF jets set to rush aid to quake-hit Nepal

The Indian government has swung into action to provide relief to quake-hit Nepal.

Ministry of Defence Spokesperson Sitanshu Kar tweeted: 'One C-17 Globemaster III will fly later this afternoon from Hindan to Kathmandu carrying Radiological Medical Team and docs.'

'An IL-76 aircraftof IAF will leave at 1800 hrs for Kathmandu from Bhatinda carrying National Disaster Relief Force teams.'
