Naqvi presents Modi's chadar at Ajmer dargah

Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today presented a chadar on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti in Ajmer during the 803rd Urs of the Sufi saint. 

Amid tight security arrangements, Naqvi, the minister of state for parliamentary affairs and minority affairs, paid obeisance in the dargah of the 11th century saint. 

"I offered the chadar on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In his message, the PM has wished for the welfare of the nation. He wishes India to be the top county in the world and wants that the benefit of the development reaches to all the people of the country," Naqvi told reporters after offering the chadar

The annual Urs of the Sufi saint began on Monday.
