Rebel Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan will today reply to a showcause notice issued to them by the party.

Citing prior commitments, the AAP leaders had sought an additional time of a day to respond to the notice against the deadline of April 19.

Accused of indulging in alleged anti-party activities, Yadav had termed the notice a "joke' and raised objection to the presence of Ashish Khaitan and Pankaj Gupta's in the AAP's disciplinary committee.

In the Facebook post, he had raised questions as to how can those members be part of disciplinary committee who had made allegations against him and Bhushan earlier.

The party had served notice to senior party leaders Yadav, Bhushan, Anand Kumar and Ajit Jha on April 17.The four leaders were earlier removed from the top panels of the party during its National Council.
