Xi's visit to Pakistan a watershed moment: Nawaz Sharif

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to Pakistan was a a watershed in the history of Pakistan-China relations. "Together with President Xi we have taken momentous decisions that will raise Pakistan-China relations to new heights and have deep impacts for our common economic future, and peace and stability in the region."

A historic ceremony was organised at the Prime Minister's Office on Monday, where Pakistan and China signed 51 Memorandums of Understanding relating to diverse aspects of bilateral relations, including the Pakistan China Economic Corridor. Eight projects were also inaugurated during the ceremony.
