Buzz on Rahul's leave in Parliament
April 20, 2015  14:37
Not in the house, but it is during adjournments, that the fate of the nation and the way ahead in Parliament, is discussed.

A fly on the wall tells us that MPs were talking about Rahul Gandhi's 2-month-long leave abroad. They were discussing why Rahul's sabbatical was not covered by the media, unlike PM's three nation tour to France, Germany and Canada.

They said that almost nobody knows where Rahul really went and what he did during that time. They also spoke about how Rahul lacks credibility and how the rank and file in the Congress believes he can abandon the party and go MIA for 56 days.

The other topic of conversation was the AAP split and how two MPs in Arvind Kejriwal's coterie are not really with him.

And then there was Sitaram Yechuri being elected the leader of the CPI-M, the SP-JDU merger and how Janata Dal's KC Tyagi and Sharad Yadav will be sidelined, while Mulayam Singh Yadav's family will take over the Parliament briefings.

And finally, it was about how the chairman of the Rajya Sabha will not allow any bill to be introduced amid a din. MPs believe that the Land Bill will never be introduced in the upper house. The Rajya Sabha reconvenes on Thursday. Wait and watch.
