Thousands throng at Ramlila ground in Delhi for 'Kisan rally'

Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi will address the rally at Ramlila grounds in Delhi today, which is expected to lampoon the Bharatiya Janata Party-led central government over the controversial Land Acquisition Bill.

Farmers from across the nation, specifically from the northern parts of Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan have started arriving for the event and are expected to participate wholeheartedly in it.

The party has also launched a website called 'Zameen Waapsi ', which will aim at providing information on land acquisition.
