Congress MP Deepender Hooda on Sunday said Rahul has always championed the cause of farmers and always guided the party to fight for the rights of the poor.

"Rahul ji has always championed the cause of the farmers, and it was because of him, and on his behest, that this pro-farmer legislation was enacted in the first place in 2013, and has always guided the Congress to fight for the rights of the farmers and the poor. And his speech at the rally is much anticipated and is going to be very important," he told ANI.
