Burdwan blast suspect arrested in Jharkhand

A Burdwan blast suspect,who is a member of the banned Bangladesh-based terror out fitJamat-ul-Mujahideen, was arrested near Tilbitha Railway station in this district, the police said today.

Ibrahim Sheikh alias Lal Mohammand, who had come from Mushidabad in West Bengal, was arrested yesterday,Superintendent of Police Anup Birtheray told reporters.

A CID team from West Bengal would shortly reach here to interrogate him for his alleged link with the Burdwan blast in October last year, he said.
