Now, Sena pushes for family planning for Muslims, Christians

Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamna is back doing what it does best -- provocation. The editorial in today's paper says that minorities needed to adhere to family planning as the "growing population of Muslims and Christians has become a threat to Hindus.

Referring to Sadhvi Deva Thakur's words that the population of these two communities should be controlled via vasectomy, the Saamna editorial defended her and said that maybe she wanted to say family planning.

The editorial said, "In the near future, the Muslim population of India will exceed the number of Muslims in Indonesia and Pakistan which will result in the cultural and social imbalance of a Hindu nation."
